Soakaways
Soakaways provide an effective solution for managing rainwater and treated discharge from sewage systems by allowing water to safely infiltrate into the surrounding ground. For surface water, soakaways help prevent pooling and reduce the risk of flooding by dispersing runoff from roofs, driveways, and hardstanding areas. When used for treated effluent from a sewage treatment system, a correctly designed soakaway ensures the water is filtered naturally through the soil, supporting environmental protection and regulatory compliance. Porosity Testing
