Porosity Testing using our Compact Test Rig in Marlow – February 2016
A Lincolnshire Golf Club approached our team looking for a borehole to supply 20 cubic metres of water per day for the irrigation of greens, fairways and tees at the club. Our Drilling Team evaluated the geology of the area and drilled a 200mm diameter borehole to 55 meters depth. The water supply borehole was test pumped and the appropriate pumping equipment installed to supply water on demand to the existing irrigation system and to supply a new reservoir which helps provide an additional water resource in the summer months. The Golf club was delighted with the results and particularly pleased that the project was completed under budget and ahead of schedule!
